we'll stay just about as hot in some cities tomorrow. mostly talking about the inner east bay valleys so temperatures are going to be very hot out in livermore, danville, pleasanton, fairfield. this morning we are starting out nice and mild. 59 in livermore. kind of cool up in santa rosa, 51 degrees here and 54 in novato. however, temperatures are going to soar, jumping by about 40 degrees in santa rosa before all is said and done today. the reason why, we have this really strong ridge of high pressure. winds are pumping from land to sea and that's a warming trend. they actually warm up and dry out as they pump back to the pacific ocean, so for us today because we're starting out so mild, high pressure is just about as strong as it was yesterday, we are talking about the hottest day. 103 degrees in places like livermore. we also have poor air quality, which means if you don't have an air conditioner in your home and want to open up those windows, right now is the time to do it. close your blinds before you leave and that will help keep y
